Offering our view of the future, Purple Sneakers and UNDR Ctrl team up to present a very intimate EMC Play Showcase at the Oxford Circus on Wednesday 30th November. This is strictly limited capacity event as part of the wider Electronic Music Conference (EMC).
Handpicking talent from the UNDR Ctrl artist roster and beyond, this special evening offers a unique opportunity to experience each artist in this tiny setting, before they undoubtedly move onto larger venues and festival stages in the future.
Hotly emerging WRLD, the 18-year-old Dutch future bass artist treats us to a headline appearance in between dates on his huge debut Australasian tour. He’ll be joined by electronic producers Third Floor and Muto. Since debuting his stunning live show @ OAF in August and releasing his ‘Dream State’ EP, Third Floor has just dropped a summer anthem contender in the shape of ‘Can’t Do This Alone’. Muto is the latest artist signing to the UNDR Ctrl agency and releases new single ‘Through The Fog’ and b-side ‘Lighter’ via Sydney label Of Leisure on Nov 29.
Multi-instrumentalists Kat Harley and Laura Bailey aka Mezko bring their mélange of krautrock, synthesizers, and damn catchy left field beats to the stage. Unsurprisingly, new single ‘Trust’ is already being championed by triple j. Also slaying the airwaves is Annie Bass, the moody electronic Sydney duo. Their debut single ‘While I’m Waiting’ brought big attention upon its release earlier this year, and the follow up ‘Faded’ is out this week.
We’re delighted to welcome EMC Play applicants ELSZ and Aeroa to complete the line-up and bring up the brings, backed up by Purple Sneakers DJs and UNDR Ctrl DJs throughout the night.
Tickets are on sale now priced only $10.
