Output Festival: PHASE 4 Announcement

August 12, 2018 Paul Stix

Announcing Output Festival PHASE 4: Nyxen, Planète, Lex Deluxe, Interstellar Fugitives

Nyxen
Tokyo born, Sydney raised, Nyxen experiments with atmospheric tech house fused with darker electronica techno, and creates a unique dance floor experience wherever she goes. The triple j Unearthed 2016 winner has had high rotation for her single ‘In The City’ and already played a number of leading Aussie festivals including Splendour In The Grass, Lost Paradise and Field Day. Next up is Output, with a huge new single on the way!

Planète
The Melbourne producer has built a strong following over the years, standing out as a unique artist within Australia's growing electronic music scene. He's also become a staple on the festival circuit, appearing at Splendour in the Grass, Melbourne Music Week and Strawberry Fields over the past 12 months as well as supporting the likes of Jacques Greene and Jon Hopkins on their recent Australian tours. Planète just dropped his debut EP ‘Continuum’ shortly after releasing two more two-tracks earlier this year, and with much more to follow, 2018 will undoubtably be his most prolific year to date. Catch him live at Output.

Lex Deluxe
Lex Deluxe is a connoisseur of all things movement. Drawing inspiration from artists far and wide, Lex has the ability to travel from genre to genre without breaking the groove. With recent appearances at Secret Garden Festival and Groovin the Moo, main supports for Confidence Man and The Presets, Lex has well and truly carved her name into the Australian dance scene. With new tracks being hinted at in her recent mixes on FBi radio, the Sydney selector continues to dazzle in her break out year.

Interstellar Fugitives
Melbourne DJ duo Interstellar Fugitives Melbourne, are largely influenced and inspired by 90’s rave and jungle, futuristic electro sounds and breakbeat. It comes as no surprise that they named themselves after the seminal 1998 album from Underground Resistance. They've made a name for themselves around the competitive Melbourne scene with appearances at clubs Boney, Gasometer, Lounge, Revolver and xe54; plus larger scale events like Pitch Music and Arts Festival, Beyond the Valley and Falls Festival. On top of DJing, the two also co-founded the party Neurotiq Erotiq which gives them and their like minded community a platform for their sound. #keen
