UNDR Ctrl launches management company with Bag Raiders
Creative music agency UNDR Ctrl today announced a brand-new management division of the business – UNDR Ctrl Mgmt, inking a deal with Australian electronic stars Bag Raiders as their first client.

UNDR Ctrl Director and founder Paul Stix has been working with Bag Raiders since his move to Australia in 2010, when he was appointed the duo ’s agent during his time working at Modular Records. UNDR Ctrl was established in July 2014 and over the weekend Stix together with his team Will Stevens, Annabel Weston and Lex Halpin celebrated the company’s 4th Birthday with a sold-out show at the Red Rattler warehouse in Marrickville.
Speaking of the transition into management Stix enthused:
"With nearly 20 years’ experience working in the Sydney and London music industries, I have picked up a few handy tips along the way that I hope will put me in good stead to manage the good ship of Bag Raiders. The introduction of the new Mgmt arm at UNDR Ctrl comes at a really exciting time as we’re currently finalising plans for the release of Bag Raiders’ 2nd LP next year. I’ve worked very closely with Jack and Chris for the past 8 years and the move into management just felt like a natural and logical next step. There’s some really excitingtimes ahead and my team and I cannot to share the new album with the world... it’ll be well worth the wait!"
Through the booking agency UNDR Ctrl represents domestic artists Annie Bass, Bag Raiders, Jensen Interceptor, Just A Gent, Lex Deluxe, Luen Jacobs, Motorik Vibe Council, MUTO, Polographia, Poloshirt, Purple Sneakers DJs, Set Mo, Shantan Wantan Ichiban, Total Giovanni and World Champion, plus international stars DROELOE and San Holo.
Meanwhile, the UNDR Ctrl events portfolio features Output Festival which returns to Goat Island on November 24 featuring Mall Grab, DJ Seinfeld, HAAi and many more, Sydney Harbour summer music series The Island LIVE – re-launching for Season 5 in November, the on-going Mixmag Live Stream series, large scale events including the sold out Claptone: The Masquerade show at Roundhouse, Music Biz 101 – an entry-level music panel for young artists hoping to catch their first break and Musica Copa, the annual 5-a-side football tournament for the music industry that has raised over $50,000 for charity since launching in 2013.
