San Holo - ANZ Tour
Returning to Australia for the second time in 2015 and making his debut in New Zealand is future beats and trap superstar-in-the-making San Holo. The Dutchman played a breakthrough 8-date national headline tour down-under in February (his first international tour at that) and returns this December and January to play an even bigger headline run across Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Auckland plus a special appearance at Falls Festival, Lorne.
Making his debut in late 2014 with the ‘COSMOS’ EP on Heroic Records, San Holo very quickly garnered the attention of all the major tastemakers and this year past year has seen his profile rise exponentially. His single ‘We Rise’ came out on NestHQ (OWSLA) amassing millions of plays on SoundCloud and Spotify and support from Skrillex, Diplo & co. Then in early 2015, the ‘Victory’ EP came out on the Canadian label Monstercat, paired with an intense visual campaign produced by San’s own creative company and label bitbird. Together with an official remix for Tchami’s hit ‘After Life’, an Initiation Mix on BBC Radio One with Annie Nightengale and performing at the Belgium mega-festival Tomorrowland, the transition from the SoundCloud realm into real industry significance was made. Meanwhile, the Dr. Dre – ‘The Next Episode’ remix crossed the 40 million plays on YouTube and the ‘Don’t Touch The Classics’ remix series is going strong, including a new San Holo re-working of Blur’s ‘Song 2’.
Previous single ‘IMISSU’ (Spinnin Records) was world premiered on Triple J a few months ago and is already another multi-million streaming track, whilst ‘Can’t Forget You’ ft. The Nicholas is the brand new single that is making huge noise around the globe since it’s release on Spinnin a few weeks ago.
San Holo’s World Tour continues onto ANZ this summer following a huge debut North American tour.
