JACQUI CUNNINGHAM

A mainstay of the Eora music scene, Jacqui Cunningham is a dynamic force behind the decks with a magnetic presence that ignites dance floors wherever they go. With nearly 15 years of crate-digging, mixing, and performing under their belt, Jacqui has carved out a legacy in Australia’s electronic music landscape—particularly as a trailblazer in the LGBTQIA+ community nationwide.

Classically trained in piano and raised by a music teacher, Jacqui’s intuitive grasp of both timeless structure and cutting-edge sound design shines through in every set. Whether weaving through euphoric house, nostalgic rave, or deep, groovy rhythms layered with warm vocals, their sound is an experience—curated with precision and heart.

A resident at Chinese Laundry—one of Australia’s most revered and longest-running clubs—Jacqui is a trusted name in the country’s underground scene. They’ve also become a fixture on Australia’s premier lineups including Lost Paradise, Beyond The Valley, Laneway Festival, Subsonic, Dark Mofo, Splendour in the Grass and Tropical Fruits. Most notably, they recently closed out the WorldPride Bondi Beach Party, electrifying over 15,000 revellers.

Internationally, Jacqui has toured across Europe and the Americas, with recent highlights including a Mexico tour featuring sets at Funk Club (Mexico City) and Bar Americas (Guadalajara). They’ve also performed at international institutions like Café Soda (Hamburg), Treehouse Festival (Nicaragua), Dalston Superstore (London), HÖR (Berlin), Ponyboy (NYC), and Club Azul (Guatemala).

Jacqui’s eclectic taste and global reach extend into radio and media, with live mixes and features on TEDx, triple j, FBi Radio, Noods Radio (UK), Radio Electronica (DE), Headstream Radio (Potato Head), and Drama Radio (MX). They've also featured as a guest speaker on the EMC panel with Honey Dijon.

As a producer, Jacqui continues to evolve. Their debut EP dropped on Switzerland’s Karussell Records in 2022, followed by the double A-side single “I Can’t Get No Sleep” on Australian powerhouse label Club Sweat in 2024. Their latest release, “See The Lights”, is out on London’s WERK Records in 2025.
