SYNTHONY

At the heart of SYNTHONY is the large-scale orchestra, led by a precision conductor, colliding the electronic dance anthems of our lives, with spine-tingling vocalists and instrumentalists, world-class DJs and accompanied by immersive lighting and visuals for a breath-taking and entirely captivating show.

SYNTHONY is scalable and we have the ability and expertise to bring the show to the biggest – and smallest of stages. From playing to 30,000 + fans at Auckland Domain, 6,000 attendees at Riverstage Brisbane to headlining the main stage New Years Eve slot at Rhythm & Alps Music festival. SYNTHONY was also the feature half-time show as part of the Netball Grand Final in Melbourne and is well suited for other major sporting events.

* Full scale (55 piece) — Suitable for major festival slots and standalone shows. This would generally include a full live orchestra
* Festival (28 piece) — Specifically tailored show with the best of all our set lists and a smaller orchestra suitable for a mid-size stage
* Corporate (16 piece) — Our smallest show format, tailored for corporate events and dinners to bring the WOW factor to any event

SYNTHONY has conducted its own national tours of Australia, New Zealand and recently expanded into South East Asia, with more plans for global expansion in 2024. Recently introduced SYNTHONY in THE SNOW was a world-first in Queenstown, NZ with the orchestra playing on the snow to a sold-out crowd of 4,000. SYNTHONY loves to play on the most diverse range of stages in the world.

Music featured as part of the SYNTHONY LIVE show includes iconic dance anthems from the likes of Eric Prydz, Avicii, Calvin Harris, Disclosure, The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, Wilkinson, Flume and many more. For specific shows, we may be able to add in bespoke tracks as well.

There are currently 4 complete set lists, SYNTHONY No.1 — SYNTHONY No.4 with at least one new set list curated annually. This means that there is always a new and varied event experience when it comes to seeing a SYNTHONY LIVE performance, with all new dance tracks reinvented in a way they’ve never been heard, as well as a few of the timeless classics at each of the live shows.

Since its humble beginnings at the Auckland Town Hall to national sold-out tours, SYNTHONY has grown due to the word-of-mouth from attendees and the incredible nostalgic experience at each of the live events. The audience is broad and of a premium nature, ranging from 18-55 year olds with the set list able to be tailored according to the audience demographic of the event.

Across the world, we work with both well-known and emerging artists. In Australia, artists that have been a part of SYNTHONY include Natalie Bassingthwaighte (Rogue Traders), Ilan Kidron (The Potbelleez), Andy Van (Madison Avenue) Thandi Phoenix, Cassie McIvor, Emily Williams, Greg Gould, Matty O (sax) and many more. This is undoubtedly the biggest orchestrated dance party in Australia. Across Australia, and the world, we have an established relationship with Orchestras and conductors, including our primary conductor in Australia Sarah-Grace Williams who has established a well-earned reputation as one of the best conductors in the Southern Hemisphere.
