Cody released his debut album "Lucas" in November 2022. The 25-year-old London born, Berlin based, multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ has been part of the Toy Tonics crew for a few years now, since he started his carrier. Last year he released the ‘Moves’ EP on the label.
Some nicknamed him "the Tom Misch of jazz-house". Not a bad description for Cody. After developing his organic jazz-house-style over a few EPs, now it's time for the debut album. With influences from Brazilian 1970ies music, to American disco and soul, but also with a strong London vibe, Cody delivers his very own style of postmodern house music.

Renowned for cleverly fusing different musical influences into timeless contemporary jams, Athlete Whippet is headed up by Robin Paul Braum. Spread across Berlin and London with his studio partner Aviram Barath, Athlete Whippet have become an integral part of both cities’ scenes in recent years with releases and remixes for the likes of Toy Tonics, Rhythm Section, House of Disco, Tartelet and Kitsuné Musique.
Athlete Whippet’s releases have come with reworks from Ross from Friends, Baltra and Max Graef. Supporters incl. Pete Tong, Annie Mac (BBC 1), Tom Ravenscroft, Jamz Supernova (BBC 6), Mixmag, DJ Mag. Following a lockdown season with shows on Balamii, Rinse FM, HÖR and Worldwide FM (with guests incl. Nicola Cruz, Lefto, Nightwave), Athlete Whippet have recently hit European stages alongside Session Victim, Dan Shake, Paula Tape, Esa Williams and COEO. Their latest Toy Tonics EP 'Nogueira' has seen strong support across DSPs, landing them on the cover of Spotify's 'Fresh Finds Dance' playlist.

Toy Tonics are organising Toy Tonics Jams all around the world and coming to the Asia-Pacific region for the first time ever in 2023.
Toy Tonics is spreading a different way of vibes - and the place where you can feel this difference most are the Toy Tonics Jams.
The Toy Tonics Jams started in Berlin 4 years ago with 700 people. Later Toy Tonics have been invited to do these Berlin disco-happenings at Griesmühle and Funkhaus Club.
The latest Berlin jams were visited by almost 2000 kids, in colorful clothes, dancing to high energy disco music. For the last two years Toy Tonics also implemented these Jams in Paris (Rex, Sacre, Badaboum), Milan (Magnolia, Tempoui) and in London: A Jam every two months. Most of them are sold out early with 1000 - 1500 persons (Phonox, Jazzcade, Xoyo, Color Factory)
At our jams, you only find Toy Tonics DJs or DJs that fit into that new soulful disco / house vibe that not many DJs are able to play. Guests like: Paula Tape, CC Disco, Soundstream, Dan Shake, Barbara Boeing, Session Victim... these kinds of DJs that are understanding the Larry Levan and wildstyle disco house aesthetics. It's all about positivity, quality music based on soul, afrofunk and italodisco (not techno).
