LO’99
TERRITORIES: AUS / NZ / ASIA
Gadigal Land/Sydney-based producer and DJ LO’99 is an artist known for his bassline forward, groove-driven productions that fuse house, garage, and techno into a sound built specifically for the underground.
With remix credits for the likes of Moby, Junior Jack, Röyksopp and Fatboy Slim, and spins of his originals by Gorgon City, The Blessed Madonna, Carista, Patrick Topping, Solomun & more, it's easy to understand why he’s such a respected part of the Australian scene.
Whether LO’s in a warehouse, a low-ceiling club, or at a festival like Yours & Owls, Rabbits Eat Lettuce and EDC Las Vegas, his performances are a clear showcase of his unique talent behind the decks & commitment to dance music culture.
Having recently released singles on Pressure, Solotoko and Insomniac’s Speaker Freaker imprint, LO’99’s catalogue continues to expand with the addition of two new EPs, set for release on MRR and Sweat It Out respectively. Up first is his ‘Big Trip’ EP, providing his own highly experienced take on modern club culture. For LO, the work doesn’t end when he steps out of the studio, his roles at labels & behind-the-scenes work with artists also see him create opportunities for others, consistently giving back to the scene around him.
