Lucy Smith is a music journalist, MC, DJ and the host of Mornings on triple j. With over a decade of radio experience, Lucy was the presenter of FBi Radio’s flagship breakfast program before moving to the national broadcaster in 2018. In the years since, she’s presented multiple Hottest 100s, the hugely popular Science with Dr Karl podcast, triple j’s Live At The Wireless on ABC TV, rage and legacy interviews with acts like Tame Impala, Billie Eilish, Lorde, Amyl & The Sniffers and Halsey. 

Lucy is a trusted voice in music media as ABC News Breakfast’s Music Correspondent, with appearances on The Today Show, Sunrise, The Project and Radio National. She has facilitated panels and in-conversations for Sydney Opera House's All About Women, Live Nation, BIGSOUND, Australian Fashion Week, SXSW and AlwaysLIVE Victoria. 

This passion and music knowledge drives Lucy’s selections as a DJ. On the mic or the decks, Lucy has entertained audiences at Sydney Mardi Gras’ Fair Day, triple j’s One Night Stand and Yours & Owls festival.
